Comedian
At the tender age of 21, the less musical of the two twins (Christoph Fritz) ventures onto a stage for the first time. Just like that. Without any stage experience (except for the unsuccessful candidacy for head boy in 2010 and the disastrous acting performance in the lead role of the midnight interlude of the Matura Ball of the Bundesrealgymnasium Stockerau in 2011).
If his first humorous walking attempts at the beginning of 2016 still took place in the Viennese basement of an Australian pub in English, he soon expanded his range to include the German native language. Several performances on open cabaret stages and participation in competitions followed. Fritz has processed the resulting traumas almost incompletely.
In 2018, his debut "Das Jüngste Gesicht" has its premiere.
For the Falter, he offers "[...] black humor in perfection. A great debut." The Wiener Zeitung sees "bitterly wicked satire with a babyface bonus." Fritz himself thinks it is his best debut program to date. "Das Jüngste Gesicht" will be awarded the Förderpreis of the Austrian Cabaret Prize in 2018 and the Förderpreis of the German Cabaret Prize in 2020.
Television appearances on ORF follow: Pratersterne, Kabarettgipfel, Sommerkabarett, Was gibt es Neues?, Willkommen Österreich, ...
As well as television appearances in Germany: Quatsch Comedy Club, Prix Pantheon, Olafs Klub, Vereinsheim Schwabing, ...
In September 2022, his second cabaret program "Tenderness" will premiere in the Vienna Stadtsaal.
He's relaxed about it, and no, he's not afraid of being exposed as an impostor, of having to change his identity and emigrate to Uruguay. What makes you think that? Please don't make a fool of yourself.
