Claus Pirschner

Claus Pirschner, born in 1974, studied political science, journalism and gender studies at universities in Vienna, Amsterdam and Sydney. In 1994, he began working as a journalist in the Upper Carinthia regional editorial department of the Kleine Zeitung. At ORF, he works as a journalist at Radio FM4 - among other things, as a program manager and presenter at the talk format FM4 Auf Laut, as editorial director of the FM4 Licht ins Dunkel campaign. Since 2011, Pirschner has also been active as an equal opportunities officer for ORF. Since 2008, he has worked as a trainer in the field of anti-discrimination, gender and diversity. Since 2022, he has been co-developing the ORF Diversity Strategy - commissioned by the ORF Director General.
