Dr. Florian Herrmann, MdL, has been Head of the Bavarian State Chancellery and Minister of State in the cabinet of Dr. Markus Söder, MdL, since March 2018 - since January 2021 as Minister of State for Federal Affairs and Media, previously also for European Affairs and International Affairs, among other things. Dr. Herrmann is a lawyer and has been a member of the Bavarian State Parliament for the constituency of Freising since 2008.
