Hartwig Hufnagl

Hartwig Hufnagl studied law and then worked for the Federation of Austrian Industries in the European Parliament in Brussels. From 2004 to 2006, he was an advisor for roads in the cabinet of the Minister of Transport. In October 2006, he joined ASFINAG as a lawyer, where he worked in Group Management and as an assistant to the Executive Board. As of April 2009, Hufnagl was appointed Head of Network Management at ASFINAG Service GmbH, where he was also responsible for the introduction of Traffic Manager. Since January 2018, the Secretary General of the ATTC (Austrian Traffic Telematics Cluster) has been Deputy Head of Cabinet at the BMVIT. As of February 1, 2019, Hartwig Hufnagl was appointed Managing Director of ASFINAG for Operations/COO and is responsible in particular for Operations and Maintenance, Strategy, Innovation, Research and Development, Legal and Purchasing, Human Resources, Marketing and Communications.
