Katharina Kacerovsky-Strobl

Katharina is an LGBTIQ activist,a fixture in the Austrian and international LGBTIQ community. As the CEO of Stonewall GmbH and as the organiser of Vienna Pride and EuroPride Vienna,as an international DJ and event producer,as board member of HOSI Wien and a former board member of the European Pride Organizer Association,she has been at the forefront of putting progress into practice. Together with the local LGBTIQ community and the City of Vienna she has been working tirelessly for Vienna Pride. Her biggest project so far was EuroPride Vienna 2019 with its more than 50 events and more than 500,000 visitors,opening doors in Vienna that had previously been closed and bringing lasting change to the Austrian capital. She is the mind behind a festival lasting between two and three weeks each year,taking place all over the city. Her purpose is visibility in all walks of life,equality,freedom,reducing reservations,highlighting injustices and the strong will to change them.
