Prof. Markus Hengstschläger studied genetics, did research at Yale University in the USA, and now heads the Institute of Medical Genetics at the Medical University of Vienna. He is Deputy Chairman of the Austrian Bioethics Commission, Head of the Academia Superior think tank, author of four bestsellers and founder of the Impact Lech Symposium.
