Her memoir, The Last Girl, is a harrowing account of the genocide against the Yazidi people of Iraq and Nadia’s imprisonment by ISIS. Nadia is the founder and president of Nadia’s Initiative, which is focused on the sustainable re-development of the Yazidi homeland in Sinjar and pursuing holistic justice for survivors of ISIS atrocities.
