Digitalization is essential to ensure a country's growth and secure its future. The ability to compete and act both nationally and internationally is also based on jointly implemented digitalization. For this reason, the federal government is not only planning a number of current and future projects, but is already implementing them. These are intended to catapult Austria to a new, digital level and offer us an improved quality of life in all areas of life. Among other things, the first Austrian digitalization report was also compiled. This contains around 125 flagship initiatives and projects from all departments, highlighting Austria's current and future digital initiatives. The planned digitalization measures cover countless areas, starting with a digital transformation in schools, education and research, initiatives for climate protection, simplification in personnel management, promotion of cybersecurity, simplified access to digital financial tools as well as legal issues for citizens, a digitalized armed forces and healthcare system and many more. Markus Petzl (disruptive), Florian Tursky (State Secretary for Digitalization), Sigrid Hantusch-Taferner (CEO Codecool), Nina Popanton (DIO-Austria) and Christine Antlanger-Winter (Google) will discuss these topics at Rosa Lyon.
