Apple's iPhone, Tesla's cars and Biontech's RNA-based COVID-19 vaccine - they all have one thing in common: a founder, founding team or inventor with a migrant background. People who once broke through mental and physical barriers have always made an enormous contribution to society with groundbreaking achievements. Nevertheless, people with a migrant background are often denied opportunities and their knowledge, drive and inventiveness remain an untapped asset. It is not uncommon for these people to have no other option than to become self-employed. This is a global problem that needs to be addressed. We need a change of perspective, an active perception of the possibilities and a fundamental change in society for current and future generations, instead of focusing on apparent deficits. This will be discussed by ORF presenter Ani Gülgün-Mayr: Ana Alvarez (Managing Director & Founder Migrapreneur), Ossiri Gnaoré (Founder Ossiri's Academy), Sonia Koul (Head of Team Women's Promotion Austrian Integration Fund), Peter Vandor (Researcher WU Vienna), Maya Almasri (Mentor Sindbad) and Judith Kohlenberger (Researcher WU Vienna).
