Although the proportion of women in STEM professions is increasing, there is still an enormous amount of untapped female potential. The reasons for this are often well-known, such as a shorter involvement in working life due to part-time jobs and parental leave, a lack of knowledge regarding the prospects of all these professional fields, possibly also a lack of courage to take up one of these professions and many more. However, the credo must be: break down old role stereotypes, offer opportunities, utilize talents, play a decisive role in shaping the future. On this panel, we would like to discuss the possibilities, measures and the elimination of social disruptive factors that could bring a greater proportion of women into STEM professions in the future. Michael Ernst (Co-Founder SHEconomy) will discuss this: Johanna Pirker (Professor of Computer Science, LMU & TU Graz), Ulla Kruhse-Lehtonen (Co-Founder & CEO DAIN Studios), Christina Wilfinger (CEO SAP Austria), Klaus Grössinger (Managing Director Onsight Ventures), Brigitte Bach (Board Member Salzburg AG) and Leni Lauritsch (Film Director & Screenwriter).
